Visit the King Abdullah I Mosque

This unmistakable blue-domed mosque, built as a memorial to his grandfather by the late King Hussein, can house up to 7,000 worshippers inside and another 3,000 in the courtyard area.

See the Roman Nymphaeum

Dating back to 191 AD, this structure was once a large, two-story complex with fountains, masaics, stone carvings, and possible even a 600 square meter swimming pool.

Visit the Numismatics Museum

Located at the Central Bank of Jordan, the museum boasts a collection of over 40,000 coins, including a collection of unique Nabatean coins, with the oldest of them dating back to the year 600 B.C.E.

Visit the Islamic Museum

Located inside the King Abdullah I Mosque, amongst the pieces to see are pottery, coins, works of Muslim art, stone engravings, as well as photographs and personal effects of King Abdullah I.

Visit the Abu Darwish Mosque

Constructed out of alternating layers of black and white stone, this interestingly constructed mosque is located at the top of Jabal Al-Ashrafiyeh.

Visit the King Hussein Bin Talal Mosque

The largest mosque in the country and was built to reflect the Umayyad architecture prevalent in many historic sites around Jordan today.

Visit the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Museum

Located at the King Hussein Mosque, it contains the letter that the Prophet (PBUH) sent to King Hercules.
